Gospel John 13: 16-20

Indeed a servant is not_greater than his master

I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, nor a messenger from the one who sent him. If_you know_these_things,_you will be blessed_if_you_do them. Not about you all I say. I_know_whom_I_have_chosen. But_be fulfilled this: People who_ate_my_bread has_lifted_his_heel_against_me. I'm telling you this now before it happens, so_that_when_it_happens, you may believe that I am He. I_tell_you the truth, whoever accepts the one I send accepts me, and whoever receives me_receives_him_who_sent me

REflection.

Envoy

No one deserves to be proud of in every success of any apostolate if without God's grace. God's grace brings humility before God. If without the grace of God deeds become vain and carrying on worldly arrogance. Today's Gospel says that the servant is not higher than his master nor a messenger than the one_who_sent him.

Two sisters meet and each shared his experience as a live-in. One said ditempatku Live-in, I called angels of death because when I pray for the sick, not long before the man died instantly. And another said, If I'm known as helper angels because when I pray for someone who is seriously ill no longer the person will recover. Eventually the two of them argue with each other. That one considers himself as a true disciple of Christ while others say because life is less sucilah who has led prayer was not answered.

When the two sisters are still arguing came Provincials who happen to have overheard their conversation and Provincial said, "You two arguing for something that is not useful, do you not know that you are the messenger of Christ are called to serve others who suffer?"
Brothers and sisters exemplary first messenger is not seen as capable of making great works such as making a miracle, but rather a way of life both in everyday life in the world it is obvious that could serve as an example. The story of the nun wants to teach us that as a messenger, we must not boast because what we have received or have the grace of God. God who ruled us and sent us in every task and in our work.
